On plan change: update the database subscription record with the new price ID, map to the correct plan tier using config from #386, update status (active, past_due, trialing, canceled). Use Prisma $transaction for atomicity. Handle the edge case where the subscription object has no items (data corruption) by logging an error and skipping. Add tests for: plan upgrade, plan downgrade, and status change to past_due.
