The landing page template lacks structured data, which reduces search engine visibility for sites built with this template.

Implementation:

  1. Create a utility function generateJsonLd(type: string, data: Record<string, unknown>) that returns a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag string
  2. Add JSON-LD for the following types on the landing page:
    • Organization — company name, url, logo, contactPoint
    • WebSite — name, url, potentialAction (SearchAction)
    • SoftwareApplication — application name, operatingSystem, offers
  3. Inject the JSON-LD scripts into the HTML <head> via the page layout
  4. Validate output against Google's Rich Results Test schema
  5. Make the data configurable via the existing site config (not hardcoded)
