Checkout PR #706 (billing status endpoint). This is revenue-critical. Verify: (1) GET /api/billing/status requires authentication, (2) returns correct subscription status and current_period_end from Stripe, (3) returns 402 when user has no active subscription, (4) handles Stripe API errors gracefully without leaking keys. Run tests, merge if green.
